Denise Austin Shares Her Go-To Core Workout For Sculpted Abs On IG

Denise Austin has been crushing the fitness game for decades, and her coaching has helped a ton of women build their own strength and confidence. So, when the 66-year-old professional fitness coach shares workout tips, people pay attention.
Well, Denise just casually dropped her go-to abs workout on Instagram and people legit freaked out. In the video, Denise can be seen in a bright yellow bra top and matching bottoms, gearing up to drop some serious knowledge.
“Do you want to know the No.1 best ab exercise to do that targets the lower tummy, the whole front of the abs, and the waistline? Do a bicycle,” she says in the video. “It works 110% of your abs.”
The fitness guru then gets on her mat to demo the move, laying flat on her back before lifting her upper back, shoulders, and legs off the mat. Denise then alternates bending her knees toward her core, touching the opposite elbow to the bent knee while extending the other leg straight, then repeating this on the opposite side. Bicycle crunches, in case you’re not familiar with them, target your rectus abdominis muscle, which are your upper abs.
“If you have time for just one exercise and want to target your entire core, do this one!!” Denise wrote in the caption. “The bicycle move hits your whole mid-section… lower and upper abs, sides and back!! Start with 30 seconds, and the more you do them the longer you will be able to last… give these a try today and you’ll feel it tomorrow!!”

Of course, if you follow Denise on IG, you know that she drops her curated workouts on the reg. Last week, Denise shared her five-minute “Pilates arms” workout, where she worked through a series of moves she says help lengthen and tone the arms with light weights.
