Bodybuilding ‘Monster’ dies of unknown causes at 46 years of age

Marco Lus, the famous Portuguese bodybuilder known as ‘Monster’, has died at the age of 46 in Cologne (Germany).

“Yes, I can confirm that Marco died in Cologne, Germany. He was in his paradise doing what he loved,” his wife shared on Facebook confirming the death of the athlete, of whom the cause of death is so far unknown.

“He may have had his own way of thinking and acting, but he was a humble person and never hurt anyone,” his wife posted.

Marco Lus’ widow (Marco Csar Aguiar Luis) asked for “understanding” and “respect” and thanked “all the support received”.

Marco Lus, who had been practicing bodybuilding since 2005, had more than 25,100 followers on Instagram alone.

“I was born with physical problems that made it impossible for me to play sports…. But I realized that my passion was muscle development,” explained Marco Luis himself in his digital autobiography.

“I was a natural until I was 32 because I didn’t even know what chemistry was and it wasn’t until I was 40, in 2018, that I competed for the first time and won,” recounted the popular bodybuilder.
