Iain Valliere posts an Instagram story

In the story, Valliere had initially posted, but later taken down, he shared that the prejudging round didn’t go as well as he had hoped for. While he did give his best, it wasn’t enough to compete against the “top dogs.”

He added that he feels “embarrassed” and “disappointed” in himself and wished that the results of giving his best would’ve been better than what they actually were. Furthermore, he apologized to the fans who were disappointed by his performance. He wrote, “Sorry to anyone I let down, who expected better from me. I wish I could have held up to the expectations.”

Valliere’s evaluation of his performance

Valliere shared that he spoiled his first impression by coming off as “awkward and chunky” during the solo presentations. The number of poses he tried to strike in the limited amount of time ended up messing up the transition between the poses, which should’ve been carried out smoothly.

While his body was pumped and crisp during the preparations, when the time came to show it off, it ended up looking “flat and small film“. Despite the numerous disappointments, Iain Vallerie was satisfied with his “muscularity and overall condition.” Although, he still believes that he did not showcase the best version of himself on the stage.

Valliere added that the cause of his disappointment was not what the results might be, but that after training so hard, he did not showcase what he had prepared. He said that looking at the lineup, he wasn’t sure if giving his best, would have been fruitful at all.
