FTC warns pharma industry on improperly listed patents

@hotmix It’s all a racket. American tax payers pay for the R&D and then the drug companies patent them and the American people pay the highest rates for the drugs they funded. Same goes for hospitals. We basically already have socialized medicine, but we let companies and investment firms take those assets and gouge the American public. Next time you vote read all the prepositions. Depends on the state, if they even have to put it up to public vote. Also look at grants awarded to drug companies on new drugs. Last time I voted there was a proposition to give one of the largest hospitals in our states 2 billion for a new wing and renovations. Many drugs you will see are 70% publicly funded or more. Then a few years later they are a $1000 a dose and cost $.20 to make. R and D cost’s of most pharma companies are like 10-20%
