Man arrested, two pounds of packaged cannabis seized from smoke shop in Baltimore

A man was arrested and two pounds of suspected cannabis was seized during the execution of a search warrant at a smoke shop in Baltimore on Tuesday.

According to Baltimore Police Department, on March 17 around 1:10 p.m., detectives executed a search and seizure warrant at a smoke shop in the 2100 block of East Monument Street.

Authorities found two pounds of suspected cannabis that had been individually packaged for sale.

A 22-year-old man was at the shop, and was wearing a ballistic vest labeled “Armed Security.”

Police said he was in possession of a loaded rifle, and had been seen selling the suspected cannabis products from within the shop.

The man was arrested and taken to Baltimore City Central Booking Intake Facility.
