Supplement sold nationwide recalled for death, injury hazard: Check your cabinets
The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a nationwide recall for a dietary supplement posing risks of serious injury or death by poisoning to young children.
Approximately 148,000 bottles of Mindbodygreen Ultimate Multivitamin+ Dietary Supplements are being recalled as the products violate federal regulations for child resistant packaging.
“The bottles are filled with dietary supplements containing iron, which must be in child-resistant packaging, as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act,” the recall states.
“The packaging is not child-resistant, posing a risk of serious injury or death from poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.
